About Max Long

Max is a highly-skilled personal trainer and fitness expert with over a decade of experience in the industry. In 2009, while a student at Missouri State University, Max developed a passion for helping people achieve their health and fitness goals.
​
After graduating, Max earned certifications in personal training, fitness nutrition specialist, and senior fitness specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also TRX certified, enabling him to provide his clients with a wide range of effective training methods. Max takes particular pride in debunking the lies and myths that pervade the fitness industry. He is committed to helping his clients achieve real, sustainable results through evidence-based methods and personalized nutrition and exercise plans.

Max's clients have undergone remarkable transformations under his watchful eyes. In 2016 and 2018, his clients won the Gold's Gym National Challenge in their respective divisions for the biggest transformations, a testament to the effectiveness of his workout methods. For Max, however, transforming a client’s physique is just a small part of the complete transformation that extents to a client’s mental outlook and lifestyle.
Chelsea Martin, one of Max’s clients, won the 2017 Colorado Cup in women's figure, and Tara Harlin won the 2020 Colorado Cup in women’s bikini masters. Max is dedicated to empowering his clients to take control of their health, mind, and body to make lasting changes that impact their quality of life.
My Story
"My entire life I have been athletic and involved in sports. With that being said, I also struggled with being very overweight as a kid. To this day this has had a huge impact on others feel the accomplishment of attaining a fitness goal. Anyone can do something if they work for it."
"After my last season of college soccer my focus turned to health and fitness. I did everything I could to learn the science behind the foods we eat and how they can help fuel the body for optimal athletic performance. After some time competing in competitions myself and helping others compete, I realized the bigger problem was in the "health" and "weight loss" industry. People were either given some ridiculous fad diet that they couldn't possibly follow for two weeks without going insane, or they were told to take this magic pill to make the fat go away. "
